About
A positive, practical approach to staying independent
Steady for Life exists to help adults over 50 move through everyday life with more confidence — and to take action early, before a near fall becomes a turning point.
About us
Steady for Life is led by Young Sono — a yoga instructor and lifelong fitness fanatic who loves working with older adults.
Stability training is the part of fitness Young cares about most. The kind of small, steady practice that quietly changes how you move through everyday life — getting out of a chair, walking on uneven ground, taking the stairs without thinking twice.
Every class is built around encouragement, patient progress, and exercises tailored to where you are right now. No pressure, no judgment — just the work that helps you stay independent.

What we believe
Our training philosophy
Start where you are
Every exercise begins at your current ability and progresses gently. There’s no test to pass and no level you need to reach first.
Independence over fear
We focus on the life you want to keep living — travel, hobbies, grandchildren — not on what could go wrong.
Safe, supportive practice
Small groups, clear guidance, and movements practiced safely so everyday life feels less intimidating.
Part of the community
Community connection — placeholder. Mention local partnerships, venues, or community ties once they’re in place.
